I've lived here in Ubon for 5 months or so and I can tell you places to go or give some advice. I have a Thai friend who is a taxi driver that can take you anywhere - Laos, Pattaya, Udonthani, Khon Kaen, etc. Ubon is known for it's VERY FRIENDLY people! That's why I decided to stay...
